Conservatories, Sun Rooms, Orangeries, Garden Rooms
You may be able to build a conservatory or Garden Room under permitted development if your scheme falls within certain criteria for example a single storey rear extension/conservatory must not extend beyond the rear wall of the original house by more than three metres if a terraced or semi detached house or by four metres if a detached house. The maximum height allowed under permitted development is four metres ( see our link below for full list of criteria) Larger conservatories will need planning permission but can be a very quick and cost effective way of adding space to your existing property and can provide lovely light kitchen extensions ,dining rooms or play rooms.
